Business Minded: A review of Shop MzOlani

HEYYY!! I am back on my blog ish and here with a new post for you guys!! I haven't done one of these in a while and I think this was a perfect company to come back with.

The above picture is what led me to finding this company. This photo was posted in a Veteran group on Facebook I am in. I asked the woman in the picture who made her dress and she pointed me to Shop MzOlani. After reaching out I discovered that the owner Jeniffer Olanikawo herself is a sailor in the United States Navy. She is also a mother to now TWO sets of Twins! Yes y'all TWO SETS!! both are boys. Yes y'all she is still currently serving in the Navy!

My Purchases

I originally wanted something that was sold out but I saw this cute cardigan and made a purchase. She told me some items would be coming in, and that she offered custom pieces. This is how I got this beautiful set pictured below.

Her customer service, product quality, and how quickly I received my items made me super excited to return to purchase again. As many of you know I am getting married, well my wedding colors are Emerald Gold and Green. I wanted to do an Ankara Print engagement shoot and needed something that had these same colors. I reached out to her, told her the colors I was looking for and and dress inspiration. I also told her when I needed the dress (custom pieces take between 14-21 days for production, you can pay for rush delivery but production time does vary). It took her about 48 hours from the time I paid for a sketch to be produced. I had my gown within 14 days.

This dress was FIRE and this is what hooked me. It takes the right eye to understand how to make a woman feel beautiful in her clothes and Jen's got that eye. With the dress she also made a bowtie and handkerchief for my guy for our pictures, her pieces mixed with my dope photographer LORDY! As you all can see, we killed this and our wedding save the dates turned out awesome.

My most recent purchase was a custom suit that I grabbed from her for the Anniversary blog post. I again sent her the inspiration picture, my measurements and insured I ordered with the production time in mind. I also purchased another lady made outfit but that has not been shot, but I can't wait to share with you guys.

As I have said in my posts, companies that make custom pieces are awesome because it allows you to get what you desire with a perfect fit for your body. Jen does consultations, helps you do self measurements, and ensures that your outfit is what you envisioned. Head over to her Facebook or instagram page and grab you something NOW!!

Always remember if you grab something, tag me so I can see your slay. Lastly don't forget to wash your hands, wear your mask, take care of each other, and stay safe

Love,

Aunty Kelechi
